Dog Park Manners

2 Day Clinic

Available to Sherwood Barks Alumni ONLY

Note: The Dog Park Manners Clinic will be moving forward at our outdoor location as scheduled

Fenced Outdoor Location: 12 minutes east of Sherwood Barks

Our Dog Park Clinics are designed to help students understand dog park etiquette for both ends of the leash!

This clinic is a two day event over the span of two weekends.

Week 1: Held at our secure, fenced Sherwood Barks location 12 minutes east of Sherwood Barks. This location will act as a dog park so students can practice recalls, observe play behaviors, toys are introduced and students can ask questions to feel comfortable in preparation for week 2.

Week 2: Held at Deermound Offleash Park. Deermound is fully fenced and secure. Students and instructors will walk together and practice recalls, observe play behaviors with strange dogs (outside of Sherwood Barks dogs) and discuss/create strategies for any problems that may arise.

Note: Not all dogs can handle the busy, unpredictable environment of a dog park. The purpose of this two day clinic is to help you decide if your dog is ready for the park or if a quieter, more predictable environment is best.
