2008 Spring Agility League.
Sherwood
Barks snd PACE agility club are competing in a Spring Agility League. Sherwood Barks will hold league games at
the Druid's Rugby location in Sherwood Park. PACE will hold games at their Killarney location.
Both venues will hold league games on Tues. night.
Spring Agility League begins Tuesday, May 27 and
ends Tuesday, July 15 (6:30 – 9:30 pm, including setup and breakdown), with a rainout/storm day on Tuesday, July 8,
2008. The final run (points will be accumulated for this run) for all teams will be held at Killarney followed by a
Wind-Up BBQ.
Team Make-Up & Scoring Info.
One standard
agility course and one games course will be completed per night.
Jump height: Determined for
each dog and maintained throughout the league play.
Mutiple dogs may be run by one handler but must be on
different teams.
Team Composition: 4 dogs/handlers per team
Up to 2 Master's dogs; 1 advanced/open
dog; 1 starter dog.
- All dogs must be able to complete all obstacles safely.
Scoring: Top 3
scores for each team will be accumulated for an aggregate score.
RULES
. Best 3 out of 4 runs will count for a team's score in Standard and Games.
No substitutions
allowed ... if a member cannot come on a particular League night.
Standard courses will be taken from
AAC Advanced and NADAC Open and the Games from a variety of sources.
The courses, rules, forms, etc. will
be posted on the PACE website allowing participants to review and practice the courses. Practice will not be allowed
on the day of the event. There will be a 5 minute walkthrough for Standard and Games.
The scores will be
posted on the Sherwood Barks & PACE websites
TEAM ORGANIZATION
Team Draw: from each category at random.
- determined after May 3, once all entries have been received.
Team should exchange personal information (PH #, email) and come up with a Team name.
All teams from Killarney
must have 'PACE' in their name.
All teams from Sherwood Barks must have 'Sherwood' or 'Barks'
or both in their name.
