I just wanted to
drop you a quick note to say thanks. With Addie being the kind of dog she is, before we came to training, she was a
real handful, probably mostly because she was bored. The change in her since we started agility has been amazing.
I know some of it is simply because she is growing up, but I’m sure a lot of it has to do with both of us getting an
education. I’ve spent my entire life around dogs, and I always thought I knew quite a bit about handling dogs,
but I have learned a LOT from you, and it has made training Addie much more fun, and less of a struggle. I find that
the consistency in how we deal with things has improved our success ratio big time – so THANKS
We have appreciated all of your help and the classes have
been fun! We have learnt so much from you and can't imgaine where we would be now if we didn't have your classes
behind us. For now, we are going to focus Bentley on obedience with the idea of getting him into obedience
trials and "eventually" (and hopefully) into Pet Therapy after he is older.
We look
forward to seeing you on Monday!
When Riley and I
go to Sherwood Barks for Agility lessons,
he just smiles! And--he is now SO devoted to me,
he listens so much better, and I absolutely Love it!
When our veterinarian labelled our new 10
week old Border Collie/Husky pup as "bold", we felt concerned since we have two younger children. It was then
we realized we needed support early on to make sure Nani made a good transition into our family. Jen's puppy obedience
class (or Nani's Kindergarten as we called it), came at the perfect time. Along with the basic obedience, Nani
had a lot of opportunity for socialization with other dogs and people, and she learned to trust us as her family. Nani
is one year old and a happy member of our busy household. Since taking the Foundations class we are now back for an
Agility Class.
Thanks
Jen!

Jr. Handler, Basic Agility
When I first found out about the sport of Agility, I thought that it might be something fun to do with my six year
old Golden Retriever named Buddy. We did not have a lot of luck with finding classes until we found an
ad for Sherwood Barks. Now my Golden is always excited about going to class. When
I bring him into the front yard he will run to the van and jump into his crate.Buddy is now seven and
I have learned so much from Jen, that Buddy is starting to become more focused on me than ever.
